Laser Treatment
Laser skin treatments are used to diminish the appearance of imperfections on the skin’s surface and can be used to treat unsightly broken and dilated vessels such as small varicose and spider veins, facial lesions such as rosacea, and help rejuvenate skin, reducing the effects of the sun, aging, and other common facial [skin disorders].
Laser treatments, whether for the skin’s surface or directed toward reshaping the body, work by producing a high-intensity ray of light that targets the unwanted area, leaving the surrounding healthy skin unharmed, resulting in minimally invasive procedures, with relatively quick recovery times.
Results emerge gradually over a series of laser treatments. Some redness may occur in the treatment area, immediately following the laser treatment but should subside within several hours.
People with light sensitivity, or who have a cold sore or other skin infection near the treatment area cannot be treated.
