After graduating from medical school in 1970, Dr. Kassouf completed his five-year general surgical residency at the Hospital of St. Raphael in New Haven, Connecticut and completed his fellowship in vascular surgery at Downstate Medical Center and the Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn. He was Director of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at the Lutheran Medical Center and Clinical Instructor in surgery at the State University of the New York Science Center and is currently on the medical staff of several major teaching hospitals of the Metropolitan area.
Dr. Kassouf is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American College of Phlebology. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Phlebology and is a Registered Vascular Technologist and Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation.
